TASK CYCLE: 1. WHAT ARE WE COOKING TODAY?

1. In pairs, look at this picture of Fish and Chips.


  Discuss and write down which may be all the ingredients for this recipe. Make your shopping list.



2. Here you have a list of different actions you can do when cooking a meal. Decide which are going to be necessary for this meal, in your opinion, and cross those that are not appropriate.

    3. Finally, we have the recipe to prepare Fish and Chips. However, something has happened and the steps are not in order. Arrange all the steps to cook this meal in a logical way for you.




 


Whisk the mix
Put some oil on a pan
Place the fish on a tissue
Make a battered mix using plain four and a fizzy water
Put the flour all around the fish
Season the cod
Cook the fish 2 minutes on each side (until brown)
Try the fish
Put salt and pepper in flour
Drop the fish into the battered mix
Cut the cod up into pieces
Turn cod around and season on the other side
